MEChA is an afterschool club that focuses on Hispanic culture. We have plans to come up with fun events that also focus around Hispanic culture but are open to anyone who is interested. MEChA stands for Movimento Estudantil Chicano de Aztlan, which translates to the Chicano Student Movement of Aztlan. As Mechistas we thrive to have unity, structure, and commitment. We want to make sure that the bad connotations of Mexican- Americans are left behind and that we can change the students so that they can be more involved in highschool and their academics.
