  • The American Red Cross now faces a severe blood shortage due to an unprecedented number of blood drive cancellations during this coronavirus outbreak. Healthy individuals are needed to donate now to help patients counting on lifesaving blood.     To qualify to donate blood, you must: not have donated within the last 56 days, you must be in good health and feeling well, you must be at least 16 years old in most states, and you must weigh at least 110 lbs.
