  • A talented communicator and engaged entrepreneur, Shalom hosts a weekly radio show where he gets down to business! The format features interviews with leaders in business, employment and politics as well as strategic advice on building your business, success stories and finding jobs. Tune in on Sundays at 6pm on AM 560 WIND.

    Pastor Chris Harris is founder of Bright Star Community Outreach (www.BrightStarCommunityOutreach.com) a nonprofit dedicated to youth & family anti-violence programs. He has developed the TURN Center (The Urban Resilience Network) based on the Israeli model of NATAL in Tel Aviv. TURN endeavors to focus on five core competencies: counseling, parenting, mentorship, work-force development and advocacy.

    Reverend Mitchell Johnson, a Chicagoland community leader for over two decades hosts a popular weekly radio program on WVON, Chicago’s largest African-American radio station. He serves on the Advisory Council of the Simon Wiesenthal Center fighting bigotry and discrimination against racial and religious minorities.

    Participants will have the opportunity to speak directly with Pastor Harris, Rev. Johnson & Shalom during our Q&A session. There will also be a call to action at the end of the podcast where you will have an opportunity to turn your passion into action and be eligible for scholarships and other awards!
