HUNGER FREE AMERICA is a nonpartisan, national nonprofit group working to enact the policies and programs needed to end domestic hunger and ensure that all Americans have sufficient access to nutritious food.
Hunger Free America needs your help creating the most current database of food resources. The crowd-sourced information will be freely available to all who might need assistance and will help the national USDA Hunger Hotline provide the most current information to callers.
Event description:
This is an entirely virtual event that requires a time commitment of 1 hour.
Receive a brief orientation and training at the start of the session.
Call food pantries and soup kitchens to verify and update existing data in our National Database.
Facilitators will be present on zoom throughout the event providing live support.
Volunteers will come away with the tools and knowledge to continue supporting this project independently.
