Judge Memorial Catholic High School
650 S 1100 E, Salt Lake City, UT 84102, USA
Basic Information:
  • For over 100 years, Judge Memorial Catholic High School has provided an outstanding educational experience firmly rooted in the Catholic educational tradition that is open to all young people along Utah's Wasatch Front. As a community based on faith, Judge Memorial works with parents to foster the integration of students' spiritual, intellectual, emotional, physical, and social development. In our unique, caring, respectful environment, students are empowered to become builders of a more just society.

The Judge campus was originally the site of Judge Mercy Home, a hospital for Catholic miners working in Park City who had contracted Black Lung. As the need for such a hospital diminished, Mary Judge (who, along with her late husband John, was the principal benefactor of the hospital), made known her wish to reopen the hospital as a school. In 1921, just after her death, the school opened. Shortly after, it would bear the Judge family name.

Judge Memorial is an apostolate of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Salt Lake City. Patrick Lambert ('97) serves as principal.
