The University of Detroit Mercy is a private, Roman Catholic co-educational university in Detroit, Michigan, United States, sponsored by both the Society of Jesus and the Religious Sisters of Mercy. Antoine M. Garibaldi, Ph.D., is the president. Founded in 1877, it is the largest Roman Catholic university in Michigan.
