The core InnerView platform is FREE for full-school high school roll-out as well as use by individual school clubs. There is no limit to the number of student accounts per school or the number of faculty with school email accounts who are granted administrator access to the school's InnerView page. The core platform meets the needs of 99% of our high school partners and includes the mobile-friendly student app, the full suite of administrator tools and monthly impact graphic resources. If your school has additional needs above and beyond the core service offering, our team can explore additional options and services that may involve annual fees.
There is no catch! We take great pride in keeping InnerView the most equitable youth service platform available and want to make sure that ALL students who are involved in service have access to these tools and opportunities to earn recognition based on the impact that they're making. Via our network of national, regional and local Champions of Change, we're able to provide the InnerView platform to students and high schools at no cost.
No, we DO NOT sell students' personal information. Please note, we do not ask for birthday, personal address or demographic information from students. There is no need to include this in a service impact history. Students have the OPTION to join programs, projects ,and opportunities with partner organizations and are alerted if that participation involves sharing their basic contact information with the organizers for communication and coordination.
InnerView is FREE and open to all students in the United States in grades 9 and up. Students are welcome to use InnerView on their own or as a member of a school or group that is using InnerView. The InnerView administrator platform is used by school-wide service leaders, service learning teachers, campus ministers, counselors, and leaders of clubs and classes with community service components such as National Honor Society, Key Club, Interact Club, AVID, Beta Club, Student Council, and other honor societies.
InnerView is designed to work like every other app students have on their phone. While we have help materials and videos available, most students prefer to dive right in and never use them. Many students use InnerView on their own, by choice, because they find the tools and opportunities valuable, not because their school requires it.
When a student creates an InnerView account, it belongs to them. When they either transfer to a new high school or graduate and move on to college, they can update their InnerView account to connect to their new school and continue adding to their service record. All of their data moves with them wherever they go.
Students are encouraged to track all of their service on InnerView to help them build a complete picture of the positive impact they're making. Any time they invest in helping others or learning about causes can be recorded on InnerView, whether those activities be through their school, clubs, church or independently.
Yes, InnerView allows schools, school groups and verified nonprofit organizations to post volunteer opportunities for both in-person and virtual events on the platform. Volunteers receive automatic reminders the day before and the day of all opportunities they commit to. Event organizers can confirm their volunteers after the event and adjust individual volunteer hours if necessary.
Yes, school and group administrators have the ability to review their students' activities and confirm or dismiss based on their specific rules about what qualifies as service. If an activity is flagged for having an issue, the the student is notified and they have an opportunity to correct their entry. InnerView helps manage the entire feedback cycle and streamline communication.
