Welcome to Heights High School and the Army Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) Program, also known as the Rough Rider Battalion.  Our program continues to be among the best in HISD.  JROTC teaches cadets to face the obstacles that life presents and provides them the qualities of leadership that will help them develop into valued members of society. Most of our cadets have graduated in the top percent of their class and have been accepted to many colleges and universities. Our cadets have attended a variety of programs with different organizations that developed their leadership skills and empowered them to be more active in their communities and school. We highly encourage students to consider JROTC as an opportunity to succeed in life.
