Battle of the Books is Green Lake School District's official competitive reading program. Participants read 20 novels chosen by state of Wisconsin WEMTA representatives and compete against participating schools  throughout the state on a rigorous reading test.  Members participate in weekly meetings, field trips, fundraising activities and library programming decisions.  Senior participants are eligible to apply for an annual scholarship to help with higher education expenses.
