Mission Statement
The mission of the National Achievers Society is to recognize, encourage, and reinforce scholastic achievement among minority students. NAS emphasizes the importance of both individual and group accomplishments, as well as the pursuit of higher education. Through its programs, the organization fosters a strong sense of achievement and pride, helping students grow from learners into leaders.
Membership Requirements
Students must be a minority, have a weighted GPA of 3.2 or higher, and be in grades 10 through 12 to be eligible for membership. There is a $30 induction fee required upon acceptance. Members are also expected to complete 10 hours of community service each year. Membership in the National Achievers Society is by invitation only.
