Get your hands dirty, build something lasting, and learn how to grow your own food from seed to plate! The Urban Gardening Club is a hands-on, high-impact space where students learn the art of sustainable agriculture, complete with woodworking projects like constructing raised garden beds and outdoor benches.
Together, we’ll sow seeds, tend to fresh fruits and vegetables, and harvest the yield. Produce is either sent home with members or sold to our school and local community at low cost to support the garden. You’ll gain real-world skills through direct experience and inspiration from the show "Grow Cook Eat."
No experience needed-just bring your enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, and a passion for growing a greener campus!
Earn Community Service Hours: Get rewarded for making a difference! Hours can be earned for any gardening work and campus beautification completed during non-instructional time.
