Increasing the capacity of women and youth to dream, rise, and succeed in many life pursuits is an urgent necessity. During the covid lock down era, we noticed children’s declined interest in school, dreams, and outdoor activities. We sought for a creative way to inculcate learning, motivation, inspiration, and fun to an out of school activities and that was how “Inspire me story” and “Girls Inspiring Corner" programs were born. This program is designed to teach kids’ history, lessons of virtue, how to dream big and what to do to keep their inspiration alive even as they grow, through stories telling. These stories focus mostly on our hero’s past, Great minds of Black descent both adults and children visionaries’ stories are shared with take-away lessons that kids can currently practice on their way to their future self. This program has truly been enjoyed by our participants and young girls and currently we need volunteers to assist us deepen, enrich and expand our reach and impacts. Our target audience are women and youth of Black descents with an aim to further minimize identity crisis and social cultural gaps by using a storytelling approach that can raise Big Dreamers and Great Visionaries for now and the future.
