Get ready to get your hands dirty! Your shift duties will vary by day, you could be helping with anything from harvesting produce, preparing beds for the winter, weeding and field maintenance, preparing for produce sales, and more. Volunteers who are 16 or younger must volunteer with an adult.
Volunteers will be asked to sign a COVID-19 waiver before their first shift and answer questions about their exposure to COVID-19 before any subsequent shift. Safety measures, including masks and physically distancing, are in place for the safety of our clients, staff and volunteers.
About Victory Programs: Victory Programs has been helping individuals and families in crisis in the Boston area for over 40 years. Some 3,200 people turn to us each year for shelter, sustenance, recovery, care, and professional, compassionate support. When other organizations can’t or won’t take people in, we do.
Victory Programs' Urban Farm grew out of ReVision Family Home, a shelter for homeless families. The farm brings fresh, locally grown produce to the Dorchester and Mattapan communities.
