Most of Episcopal Community Services of San Francisco's formerly homeless residents and guests live alone and many are seniors. With the heightened need to stay inside, often without the comforts or TV or computers, the people they serve are at high risk for isolation and depression.
Help bring a smile to someone's face with a hand-made card wishing them Happy Holidays (note - they've asked for general Happy Holidays or Seasons Greetings because they serve people of all denominations)!
Get creative and make 2 origami snowflake cards that include a nice quote or poem or positive message and sign each card with your first name and hometown (ie. Madison from Santa Fe, NM).
Instructions for the snowflakes ->
