At Pajaro Valley Loaves and Fishes, they serve nutritious food at no cost to a vast array of clients, many of whom are working poor, farmworkers, elderly, disabled, and unsheltered members of our community AND SPANISH SPEAKERS. They strive to serve all of their guests with care and attention, and would love to be able to add to their lunch giveaways some notes of encouragement to brighten their guests' day.
Create 8 small hand-written notes or positive messages IN SPANISH and include drawings to brighten their clients' days. If you cut a full-size sheet of paper into 4 smaller pieces, that's about the right size. Make them colorful and cheery!
Some example messages include:
"Esperamos que tengas un buen día!" (We hope you have a good day!) or
"Es amado/a"/"Eres amad@" (@ marks gender neutrality)
"Por favor disfrute su alimento, preparado con mucho cariño para usted" (Please enjoy your food, prepared with much care for you)
"Tienes mucho que ofrecer" (You have a lot to offer)
"Yo sé que tú puedes hacerlo" (I know you can do this)
"Tu presencia es agradable" (You are pleasant to be around)
"Su bienestar nos importa" (Your well-being matters to us)
"Tú mejoras el mundo" (You make the world better)
"Creo en ti" (I believe in you)
