  • Capturing buildings and monuments from across the globe and throughout the ages, The Courtauld's Conway Library collections are an invaluable resource for research. For the first time in its history, this collection of over 1 million images is being ordered, accessioned and digitized by a fantastic team of volunteers as part of our ongoing digitization project. Once digitized, the entire collection will be made publicly accessible online, for free.

We want as many people as possible to be able to access the images, which is why we need your help to transcribe the information in each individual image. Your transcription will allow photographs to be searchable by the information you're noting down (by city, town, architect, date and description) and will reveal the secrets of this collection for the first time.

Right now, the team is working on photos from Italy and Germany - pick the country that interests you most!
