  • World Humanitarian Day (WHD), August 19th, 2023, focuses on the importance of humanitarian work worldwide. Here’s how you can participate.

     

    Humanitarians respond to people in need for various reasons that often align with the Global Goals, such as climate change, poverty, equity, etc. This year's slogan for World Humanitarian Day is “It Takes a Village.” We call on you to participate by taking the following steps:


    1. Create a mixed-media collage of images and text that features images of people from all walks of life, including quotes from humanitarians and the importance of connecting and helping others.  

    2. Find a humanitarian organization whose mission you support. Many organizations are working to help people in need all over the world. You can find a list of organizations here: https://www.globalgiving.org/

    3. Upload a photo of you holding your collage to InnerView and email a photo/copy of the final collage to the Creative Visions team at impactedu@creativevisions along with a few sentences about why humanitarian work matters to you and the world.
