  • The Salvation Army is serving more people in need and delivering the broadest array of services than any other not-for-profit organization in Chicagoland. The Salvation Army is making an impact every day in three key areas of critical importance and concern to people across Chicagoland -- Homelessness, Violence and Education.

     

    It’s easy to feel anxious and alone, especially for residents in our homeless shelter. Receiving greeting cards in the mail brings a glimmer of hope and joy to their day, and lets them know they are being prayed for, cared about, and remembered.


     

    Make a friendship bracelet to brighten someone's day and give them a constant reminder that they are not alone. Include a short note wishing them well and sign it with your name and hometown (ie. Layla from Milwaukee, WI).
