Western Springs Baptist Church Meal Packaging Event
Both Alexis and Aaron were very supportive and courteous. They brought positive energy and dedication to the event. Their assistance was valuable in packaging 50,000 meals for those in need.
You are invited to participate as a Volunteer Leader. Our Lead Volunteers will assist in event set-up, assembling boxes, sanitation prep, training of the production volunteers, stocking of production tables, and clean-up.
Morning refreshments will be provided.
Transportation Details & Disability Access
InnerView Student Volunteers should be comfortable standing for several hours - and lifting and carrying 35 pounds.
There is ample free parking in the Heartland Bank and Trust Company lot across the street from the church. The church lot itself may be filled when you arrive as there will be a Sunday service in progress. As we get closer to the event we will provide a detailed map with directions to the church and the bank parking lot.
NOTE: Please bring your ID.
We will be sending out detailed instructions on how to reach the event venue a few days before the event.
Training Required
We are seeking InnerView Student Volunteers to assist Feed6 in set-up, hosting, sanitation, training, table captaining, table re-supply, and clean-up. They are indispensable to the smooth flow and logistics of our events. Feed6 will provide on-site training. Volunteers should plan to arrive at 11AM on Sunday, May 19th, 2024 in the Community Room at Western Sprngs Baptist Church - and report to Chris or Bill, Feed6's Co-Founders.
Please note that when you arrive a worship service will be underway in the Sanctuary, so we ask our volunteers to respectfully observe silence until the service is over.
