Comfort Bears in a Catastrophe provides Comfort Bears with a handwritten note of encouragement to children impacted by disasters. Since being officially founded in 2021, they have distributed over 1,000 Comfort Bears to children in 5 states. With the help of generous volunteers like you, they have made receiving comfort items during disaster relief possible for thousands of children.
Help them tag their bears by writing the cards with encouraging messages that go on each Comfort Bear they send out. These bears will go out to children impacted by disasters, so they do ask the encouraging messages are sensitive to that, with no reference to things like 'home', 'water' etc.
- Download and print the template for the tags
- Cut the template into 6 individual square tags with their logo in the center of each square
- Write an encouraging message or doodle on the back side of each tag (the side that doesn't have the logo on it)
- Mail your 6 completed tags to the Comfort Bears in a Catastrophe team
