The Safety & Sustainability committee is an active group of young people that align their work with the Rapid City Youth City Council. They meet on a monthly basis to discuss and plan projects that build a stronger and safer community.
Vision - As youth of Rapid City, our goal is to raise environmental awareness among community members to create an eco-friendly community. We also strive to build a safer and stronger community for all through education, insight, and advocacy. To obtain these goals, we partner with city departments and community organizations in a variety of projects and events.
