Trick-or-Treat Trail is a non scary Halloween event where children and their families walk through a trail with friendly characters who wave hello to them along the way. Volunteers will need to dress up in a child friendly costume, preferably a character that children will know. Costumes will be provided by the Park District to volunteers on the day of the event or can be brought from home, please prepare accordingly. Volunteers will help run games, pass out candy, and direct participants throughout the event.
The Park District asks that if you register to volunteer at the event, that you arrive on time and must plan to be there the whole time. Also, please only sign up if you plan to show up.
Training Required
Enjoy working with children of all ages and not be afraid to jump in and lend a helping hand where it is needed. And most importantly: have fun :)
