Join us for the 8th Annual Great Highwood Pumpkin Festival being held October 6-8, 2017, and will benefit Make-A-Wish Illinois. One of the main focuses of the event has always been to beat the Guinness World Record of 30,581 for most jack-o’-lanterns carved and lit at the same time. In 2017, festival organizers have a bigger goal in mind, to raise over $600,000 for Make-A-Wish Illinois to help grant 100 wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions in Illinois.
We need volunteers to to run our pumpkin carving stations, entrance gates, hay ride, information booth and merchandise sales. Volunteer with friends or make new ones! This is an all-volunteer event and we can not reach our goals without you.
