    Are you a high school student passionate about the environment and community engagement? The Green Crew Community Outreach Internship offers a unique opportunity to build leadership skills, spread awareness, and inspire others to join the conservation movement. Become a part of our youth-led team dedicated to making a positive impact while gaining valuable experience for college and future careers!

    What You’ll Do:

    As a Green Crew Community Outreach Intern, you’ll engage with the community to promote conservation initiatives and inspire action. Here’s what you could lead:


    • Community Presentation Series: Host presentations at schools, community centers, and events to highlight Green Crew projects and conservation topics.

    • Environmental Workshops: Design hands-on workshops on topics like pollinator gardens and sustainable living practices.

    • Neighborhood Clean-Ups & Restoration Days: Lead local clean-ups and habitat restoration events, engaging neighborhoods in conservation efforts.

    • Family Day & Game Night Events: Organize family-friendly events, including environmental trivia and game nights, to foster community-wide engagement.

    • Public Awareness Campaigns: Develop campaigns on topics like plastic pollution and climate change, using social media, posters, and public spaces.

    Intern Commitment:


    • 18 Hours per Month: Including a monthly Conservation Service Day and Leadership Team Meeting.

    • Flexible Term: Choose between a school-year internship or a full-year commitment for maximum impact and experience.

  • Transportation Details & Disability Access
    Must be able to regularly meet for volunteer work at 6601 Auto Club Rd. Reasonable accommodations can be made and should be discussed with Joseph at the time of contact.

  • Training Required
    All volunteers will be provided training on site. Provided trainings include: Leave No Trace training, youth protection training, as well as training in environmental leadership and environmental project management.
