The Green Crew Event Planning and Coordination Internship offers hands-on experience in coordinating impactful conservation events. From workshops to national conferences, help bring people together in support of the environment!
What You’ll Do: As a Green Crew Event Planning and Coordination Intern, you’ll play a key role in organizing a range of events. Here are some of the projects you could lead: Community Conservation Service Days: Coordinate monthly clean-ups and restoration projects, engaging community members and volunteers. Leave No Trace Summit in 2026: Begin early planning for a major conservation summit in partnership with the Center for Outdoor Ethics. 2026 Izaak Walton League National Conference: Help organize a national conference by coordinating vendors, volunteers, and promotional materials. Educational Workshops: Plan and coordinate hands-on workshops in local schools and community centers, spreading environmental awareness.

Training Required
All volunteers will be provided training on site. Provided trainings include: Leave No Trace training, youth protection training, as well as training in environmental leadership and environmental project management.
