We need assistance at our annual recycling collection event. The volunteers at this particular station will be collecting and sorting gently-used books to donate to non-profit organizations to be reused again and paper for shredding. The volunteers must be willing to unload the books and paper from the cars (as the cars drive through) and put them in the desired location.
For a little more background, at this recycling event we also take in electronics, printer cartridges, & Lion's Club Eyeglass collection. There is also an area to safely destroy documents (which the paper then gets recycled). Residents can also take a tour of the West Wastewater Treatment Plant and pick up free mulch.
There is no charge for the residents to participate.
Please see the event organizer (Steve) when you get there.
