We honor our Veterans each year with a Veteran's Day Ceremony AND a collection event for homeless Veterans. We need help loading an enclosed trailer with the donations by people dropping their items off.
This event is totally outside so we recommend you dress warmly and for the elements. This event is rain (snow) or shine but we do put up a canopy tent to keep us dry as much as possible.
Anyone working this event will be in awe of the kindness and generosity of the community.
We set up on Coral Street (across from 11704 Coral Street) near the Veteran's Memorial located in the Huntley Town Square. The Veteran's Day Ceremony takes place in the center of the Town Square at 11am
Transportation Details & Disability Access
There is plenty of nearby parking and the person/people helping should be able to walk up a wood ramp while holding items. There are restrooms inside the old Village Hall.
