Each year as fall approaches, Veteran Mentors lead the way in ensuring students—particularly those in under-resourced communities—have the tools they need to start the school year with confidence. Thanks to support from generous donors and partners, thousands of youth across the nation are provided backpacks full of new school supplies and character-based curriculum delivered by Veteran Mentors.
TMF would love your help in making the children who receive one of these backpacks feel extra special by creating friendship bracelets for them!
Make FOUR friendship bracelets so that each student will have a daily reminder that people care about them and are pulling for them to succeed in school this year! String bracelets are easiest to send through the mail, but you're welcome to make any other style of friendship bracelet you like ... just remember, you're going to have to mail them.
Here are a few videos tutorials on making string friendship bracelets:

If you make bracelets from a kit with letters that allows you to spell out a word, consider picking one of the Character Strengths to motivate the students throughout the year!
Mail your FOUR completed bracelets to: Travis Manion Foundation c/o Krista Kotsay P.O. Box 1485 Doylestown, PA 18901
YOU MUST MAIL COMPLETED BRACELETS BY MONDAY, JULY 7 SO THEY ARRIVE IN TIME FOR THE BACKPACK PACKING EVENT
