Dev Sharma is an incoming college Freshman who noticed that underprivileged communities have different needs that require different solutions and resources; there is no one-size-fits-all solution to every problem. This inspired him to create the Raksha Foundation, an organization dedicated to getting to know the people within the communities and providing need-based resources and genuine care. 

"Raksha empowers youth to actualize their potential to make global impact by pushing them to use their art and talent in establishing such transformative connections with the underprivileged. This connection across generations allows Raksha to address the sustainability needs that CSR initiatives fail to directly hear from the communities they serve."
