In a world where technology increasingly shapes how we are seen, telling our own stories matters more than ever.

This month's Call to Action invites you to explore identity, perception, and AI's role in both. Through a simple two-panel story, you'll compare how you see yourself, how AI imagines you, and how you envision your future relationship with this technology. You'll then share your reflections to be part of the larger conversation about AI.

    1. Show How You See Yourself - Create an image that represents who you are. Use any medium: pencil, crayon, collage, photography, digital art, or whatever feels authentic to you.

    2. Ask AI to See You - Describe yourself in a few words using an AI image generator (Google Gemini, Canva, Adobe, etc.) and ask it to create an image based on your description. Feel free to experiment with multiple attempts, but ensure you're giving the AI the most essential information about who you are.

    3. Create Your Panel - Combine all two images into a single two-panel layout.

    4. Write Your Reflection - Answer the following questions in a brief written reflection

    • How was creating your own self-portrait different from what the AI generated? What does this reveal about human versus AI creativity?

    • What did the AI capture about you? What did it miss or misrepresent?

    • In your final image, what relationship with AI did you choose to show, and why?

    • Why does your own voice and vision still matter in an AI-driven world? How will you ensure AI enhances rather than replaces your authentic self-expression?
