  • Calling all High School Students!


    Tell a Story. Teach a Lesson. Change a Life. 

    Humanity Rising is inviting high school students to submit original artwork for the RISE UP Art Contest— a national opportunity to inspire elementary students through creativity, courage, and compassion.

    Selected artwork will be featured in the RISE UP Coloring Book, reaching thousands of elementary students across the country and helping teach what it means to be an upstander, not a bystander.


    Key Dates:


    • Contest Opens: January 25, 2026

    • Submission Deadline: April 1, 2026

    • Winners Announced: May 17, 2026 | 6 PM CT



    To Earn 2 Service-Learning Hours (and a chance at $1,500!), you must submit your work using this link: https://scholarsapp.com/scholarship/humanity-rising-rise-up-art-contest

    Important things to know:


    • You have to create a Scholar’s App account to submit your artwork

    • Submitting your artwork = 2 service-learning hours

    • By submitting, you are also entered to win a $1,500 scholarship! 


    If you don’t submit your artwork through this link, you won’t receive service-learning hours. 

    Why It Matters:


    Your artwork becomes a teaching tool — helping younger students learn empathy, courage, and how to stand up for others. You keep ownership of your work and are always credited as the artist.
