What is a Musical Instrument Petting Zoo???
I’m glad you asked!  It is often referred to as the “Please Touch Museum” for musical instruments (no animals involved) where children & adults get to have a fun, interactive experience with over 50 different musical instruments – an opportunity to touch & play every instrument! 

What will volunteers be doing?
Another great question!  Depending on the amount of time a student can provide, they can volunteer from the very beginning of an event (loading in the instruments & set up) to the very end (packing up & loading instruments into the van). In between set up and taking down, the students can demonstrate how an instrument works (it’s similar to a quick “show & tell”… it literally takes only seconds to demonstrate an instrument).  NO MUSICAL EXPERIENCE needed.  That’s right, no experience is needed… we will show students how everything works.  Students can volunteer for just an hour or a few hours, whatever is convenient for them.
