What is a Musical Instrument Petting Zoo???
I’m glad you asked!  It is often referred to as the “Please Touch Museum” for musical instruments (no animals involved) where children & adults get to have a fun, interactive experience with over 50 different musical instruments – an opportunity to touch & play every instrument! 

What will volunteers be doing?
Another great question!  Depending on the amount of time a student can provide, they can volunteer from the very beginning of an event (loading in the instruments & set up) to the very end (packing up & loading instruments into the van). Shifts are available.  Volunteer for just an hour or a few hours, whatever is convenient for you.  In between set up and taking down, students can demonstrate how an instrument works (it literally takes only seconds to demonstrate an instrument).  NO MUSICAL EXPERIENCE needed.  That’s right, no experience is needed... we will show you how everything works. 

You DO NOT need to volunteer for the full 3 hours.  When we email you, simply let us know how much time you can volunteer for and what times you are available.
