  • Scientists studying the Florida Everglades need your help to understand and protect wildlife across one of the most important ecosystems in the U.S.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission uses trail cameras placed throughout protected lands to capture photos of animals in their natural habitats. But with thousands of images to review, they need help identifying what species are appearing—and that’s where you come in.

You’ll look at real trail camera photos and help identify animals like deer, panthers, and other wildlife. No experience is needed.

Your work helps scientists track which animals are present, how they use different habitats, and how ecosystems are changing over time. This information is used to guide conservation efforts and protect wildlife across the Everglades.

By participating, you’re helping researchers better understand and protect one of the most unique ecosystems in the world.
