Arts non-profit Keep Music Alive is seeking volunteers for a Musical Instrument Petting Zoo event (NO ANIMALS) at the Nilsa I. Cruz-Perez Downtown Library in Bellmawr, NJ for a free, FUN & interactive Musical Instrument Petting Zoo.  Our exhibit features acoustic/electric guitars, ukuleles, keyboards and dozens of percussion instruments for kids of all ages to have fun with.

What is a Musical Instrument Petting Zoo???
I’m glad you asked!  It is often referred to as the “Please Touch Museum” for musical instruments where children & adults get to have a fun, interactive experience with over 50 different musical instruments – an opportunity to touch & play every instrument!

What will volunteers be doing?
Another great question!  Volunteers help keep tables of instruments (and their signs) organized on the tables.  In addition, you will show families how the instruments work.  NO MUSICAL EXPERIENCE needed.  That’s right, no experience is needed… we will show you how everything works, it literally takes only seconds.

How do I benefit volunteering for Keep Music Alive?
An important question for sure!  High School students receive a Volunteer Service Credit Letter & College students (currently attending, will be attending in the fall or recently graduated) will receive a financial stipend.
