    SUMMARY
    Reflection
I had a great time reading books to the kids about various topics. I tried to have a theme each time (local animals, compost, etc.) but I could have gone further with the theme and I could have added more things to do. Overall, the project was successful because I reached the people I was trying to reach. I also expected to have more people, but then I talked to my mom (a librarian who took me to toddler storytimes when I was little) and other librarians, and they said that these events usually do not have a high turnout. Still, the children who came were very attentive and ready to learn, and I believe that I helped them learn about topics in their community.
    Project Impact
Throughout this project, I was able to read to and connect with five children.

    Project Outcomes & Reflection
5.00 hours leading an initiative | Connectedness
I prepared for a larger group than actually showed up to any of the sessions, so I should have made my activities more personalized. During my latest reading, I asked the kids questions as we read along, which kept them more engaged than the kids from the first few readings. Additionally, I had a few volunteers there, but the volunteers were not able to do much, so when I have my next reading, I might invite less volunteers. Also, the reading and craft were good, but a few people suggested that I should incorporate a visual activity like felt puppets. All in all, I reached my target audience and people were excited about the readings, so my project achieved its purpose.
