PROJECTS TASKS

Page Week
10.00 hours participating in an awareness event | Connectedness
We spoke to state employees and took a look at important buildings

Project Planning
2.00 hours leading an initiative | Connectedness
I worked with my school guidance counselor to set up days where we could work together and get the ball rolling. We first came up with a proposed date, then plan of actions, and then communication. My project was to make cards for the elderly in my community.

Publicity
1.00 hour leading an initiative | Compassion
I typed up a couple emails to be sent out to the teacher who led a club who might be interested in this activity.

Do the Project
4.00 hours leading an initiative | Connectedness
In this phase, my club and I made cards, as well as the other clubs in the building. After the week was over, I collected the cards and sorted through them and selected the ones that would be best for the cause.

Project Outcomes & Reflection

I realized how difficult it was to put together a service project. There are so many aspects of planning that goes into these activities. Additionally, there are so many areas in our community that we can make a difference in.
