    SUMMARY
    Reflection
Organizing this food drive in partnership with school clubs and the Holly Springs Food Cupboard has been an eye-opening and rewarding experience. Through this initiative, we successfully collected over 350 pounds of food, directly supporting families in need within our community. Beyond the numbers, this project taught me the true importance of giving with intention. It’s not just about donating food—it’s about fostering a spirit of care, connection, and responsibility toward those around us. I’ve realized that having passion for service allows you to fully appreciate the impact of your efforts. This experience inspired me to take my commitment even further. I joined a neighborhood food collection group to continue supporting local food drives, ensuring that this impact extends beyond just one event. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve and for everyone who contributed to making this drive a success. Together, we made a difference, and I look forward to continuing this journey of community support.

    PROJECTS TASKS
    Page Week
10.00 hours participating in an awareness event | Connectedness
During this page program, we connected with a lot of various individuals within the political scene. Ranging from those in Department of Transportation, Environmental Quality, and a couple more. While also meeting the political members, we also connected with each other. Learning about their interests and aspirations for their future.
Food Drive for the Survivors of Natural Disasters
2.00 hours leading a collection drive | Connectedness
Work long with MBSA, a club I’m a member of, Key Club, and work with staff members to garner news on a food drive for survivors to the natural disasters happening across the United States.
    Do the Project
148.00 hours leading a collection drive | Connectedness
Worked along with MBSA, Key Club, HOSA, and teachers to gather knowledge in students of the food drive to get supplies to survivors that are in need. Such as the Los Angeles fires and flooding in the coast. Hosted meetings with MBSA and HOSA to organize and count the items collected for the food drive. We allowed members part of the three clubs to gain hours due to recognition for their support and support the community. Reached out and partnered outside of school with deployment of food with Holly Springs Food Cupboard. We gathered over 350 pounds of food which ranges from several carts of heavy non perishable items. Spent around 2 hours for two months and a half each day regarding this project either reaching out to companies to spread the word, organizing the event with the clubs to make sure it worked with the scheduling, creating posters to hand to teachers to hand out, and networking with the Enloe News to let other students know that are not apart of the different groups. Photo is from right during the beginning where we had only two carts and I just finished a meeting organizing them all. There as so much more coming and I was excited to see where it all went.
    Project Outcomes & Reflection
1.00 hour leading a collection drive | Connectedness
It was such an interesting experience. I never knew what fully went into food collection drives coming in with the idea just let it sit until enough is seemed to be collected but there was so much more that went into it. I didn’t know companies would even offer to support and I used my part connections to reach out in the beginning which lead to a large success. So much time went into it and I’m genuinely happy where I landed.
