SUMMARY
Reflection
I had a blast being on this council. I never once regretted joining and am thankful I had the opportunity. I was able to help so many because of the council. I learned just how much one person can impact change. I also learned how seemingly complex tasks can be handled relatively easily among a quality team.
Project Impact
Over 420 pounds of peanut butter donated benefitting over 400 families
PROJECTS TASKS
Idea - Proposal Submission
1.00 hour leading a program | Connectedness
I hope to provide peanut butter to families in need. This task is important to me because I have seen the need when volunteering.
Planning & Partnering for Success
3.00 hours leading a program | Compassion
I am working with Heights Interfaith Ministries Food Pantry to bring my project to life. My project title shall be Spreading Hope.
Preparation, Promotion & Project Execution
5.00 hours leading a program | Compassion
The nonprofit that I partnered with has received the microgrant. I used the money to spread the message of the drive. I notified my entire school and received many donations. I was able to surpass my first goal and second goal.
Celebrate Impact & Reflection
1.00 hour leading a program | Compassion
I had a great time executing my project and am pleased with its results. I know it made a huge difference for my nonprofit since they usually have to acquire peanut butter on their own. In the picture you can see that one of the over 400 jars donated is in the trunk of a person who needed it.
