SUMMARY
Reflection
In this service project, I learned a lot about food waste and about how we waste so much more food than we think we do. I also learned just how serious food waste is as well as how to minimize it in my own household.
Project Impact
Food waste is a global issue so I hope that my project makes a small impact in reducing the amount of waste worldwide. In doing this service project, I was able to decrease the average amount of pounds of food waste in my house by 0.2 lbs or 0.05kg. It's a very small decrease but I will continue to check my food waste.
