Sandia's Peer Helpers is a student organization dedicated to suicide prevention in the Sandia High School community. As part of a program funded through Albuquerque Public Schools and Bernalillo County, the Peer Helpers are trained to provide mental health and self-care resources to fellow students. The Peer Helpers produce monthly outreach projects and organize large service projects each semester.
