Basic Information:

  • Bilingual Community & Customer Service Learning (BCSL) is a class for students who want to:

    • practice communicating in English and Marshallese or Spanish
    • use their bilingual talents to make an impact in their community
    • earn credit for both World Languages and Service Learning

    Students develop biliteracy communication skills through serving as literacy mentors for local elementary students (Community Service Learning) and experiencing externships with local offices & businesses (Customer Service Learning).
