    From the Governor Page Program- to my project I’ve been able to help create change in my community- learn about NC Government and share that knowledge with others!

    Had the great opportunity to meet with government officials and met with like-minded youth. I learned a lot about how the state gov works and all that the departments do

    4.00 hours leading an initiative | Compassion
    I partnered with BCPS and Freedom High School to raise over $1000 to buy Christmas gifts for students impacted by hurricane Helene.

    Different teams and group went to spend the money and bought gifts- we had a told of 8 groups and were able to spend all $1000

    While we were not able to distribute the gifts ourselves due to confidentiality- BCPS was able to distribute all 8 gift bags in time for Christmas. I then was able to present to the BOE about the work that I did with NC Gov Page Program and its impact.
