SUMMARY
Reflection
During the completion of this project, I learned about the impacts climate change has had, will do, and it currently doing in various regions of this Earth. I also learned about how individuals like me can help slow down the rising temperature. Not only did I learn about individual actions, but I also learned about what other organizations and individuals are doing to help.
Project Impact
The impact of this project is getting halfway through the general impact (5/10). Learning to speak up about this issue is the first step into getting involved and helping. Not many know how to begin and this project helped do that.
PROJECTS TASKS
Say It With Research
3.00 hours learning about service to others | Curiosity
During the time I was learning about climate change with the three resources given out, I learned about predicaments, adaptations, various reports, and much more that has and continues being affected by the rising temperatures. I also learned about IPCC, which where scientists write reports regarding the current information on climate change.
Say It With Scientists
2.00 hours participating in a workshop | Curiosity
June 4th:
Today I attended a webinar that explained the impact climate change has on biodiversity, health, and our daily lives. They focused in on Brazil since one of the scientists was from there and could speak more from actual experience since it’s really bad over there and climate change is seen as a political stance. All in all, the webinar took climate change and connected it to our daily lives and the lives of animals.
Key Take Aways: 1.) we can influence climate change in almost any way; entrepreneur w/ investing in new types of energy; designers w/ designs or logos to promote the need to change climate change; etc. 2.) By doing our part we can help stop global warming. This can be by fighting for the Paris Agreement, researching, etc. 3.) global warming affects our health w/ respiratory, nature w/ droughts or floods, agriculture w/ no clean water, and much more.
June 18th:
Today I decided to watch the recording of “The Economics of Climate Change.” The speakers discussed how climate change goes along with economics/finance and politics as well as spent a large chunk of time answering questions from those who had attended.
Key Takeaways: 1.) ipcc won’t take a stance in any major political party because they just want to help the environment. In other words, climate change isn’t and shouldn’t be about politics. 2.) emissions are found more in local global in countries

3.00 hours leading an initiative | Curiosity
Using the digital drawing and research, I uploaded it to my Instagram (which I crossed out for privacy) and included some information I had learned with the research part of this project. The information was based on how climate change has affected, is affecting, and will affect the world. The purpose of this drawing was to exaggerate the effects of what we do in our daily lives to our planet. That would include the glaciers in the ocean melting, temperatures rising, and much more.
Say It With Art
4.00 hours leading an initiative | Curiosity
During the past week I have spent a couple of minutes working to finish this artwork that shows the future of the planet if nothing is done to slow down climate change. In the end, I submitted it to the “Say it w/ Science.”
