SUMMARY
Reflection
I donated over 30 school supplies to those in need. I specifically gave them to the Durham branch of SECU, where Durham disproportionately has fewer supplies/support than its surrounding communities. To have an equitable education for everyone in our area, we can give school supplies to those most in need. That includes basic things such as paper, pencils, and other necessary materials that countless schools don't have access to, which is why this donation is crucial. I also feel connected to this cause because I was right in front of the Governor when he created his message for this donation drive!
Project Impact
Supplies donated: 32, Location donated to: SECU in one of least funded school districts
