    SUMMARY
    Reflection
I had a wonderful experience participating in this campaign and I learned invaluable communication, leadership, and speaking skills that I know will serve me well for the rest of my life. Participating in this campaign helped me realize where people need help, where improvements can be made on what we have now. Yes, it helped me make an impact, but the more important part for me was the realization that there is more to be done, more impact to be made. It helped me know that I may be one person but me, as one person, can impact another person who can impact another. It helped me realize that leadership isn't just about informing people what they can do next or supporting your team, but forming a team of leaders who will then go and form another team and make further impact. Being recognized isn't as important as the connection of others, leadership isn't exercising authority but humility in knowing that your purpose is to serve others and put yourself second. I learned so many valuable lessons and I know that as my journey in mental health advocacy continues, I will continue to learn to share the art of creation, connection, and empathy.
    Project Impact
I received 52 submissions to the campaign and created a nationwide available resource for those struggling with coping with distress.

    Community Outreach Project
    4.00 hours leading a program | Connectedness
I named my project "Project Integrity" because integrity not only means doing the right thing when nobody's watching, but also the state of wholeness and wellness, both things I wanted to encapsulate in my interactions with my community and video presentation. I chose to do a video presentation to allow people outside my small community as well as those in it to learn applicable coping mechanisms they can use when stress management feels difficult.
    CreateConnectCare - Creative Activism
    3.00 hours leading a program | Connectedness
I presented to the Big Lake High School NHS to get them informed as well as onboard with the #CreateConnectCare Campaign. I also informed the Art Competition Club at my school about the campaign and received more engagement from that group of people, which I expected. Something I wish I would have done a little better is express the importance of filling in my name under the submission box, and having people submit before they left the room. I did, however, create posters and hung them in the hallways to remind those I present to about the campaign and the upcoming deadline. I presented to Big Lake Middle School art students and communication students about the campaign and gave them time and ideas (as well as incentives) to do it. This was fairly successful and I got a lot of participation from this group, this was a positive surprise as I wasn't sure how engaged the Middle School would be in campaign participation. It was mainly posters and visual arts made but a few poems were also written. Presenting to these groups really helped me build skills as a speaker and presenter, as I was constantly looking for ways to improve the way I was conveying information to make it easier to understand.
    Role + Reflection
    1.00 hour leading a program | Connectedness
I had so much fun collaborating with leaders and students around me to coordinate events, set up meetings, and spread the word of the campaign! I learned so many things and improved my communication, presenting, and social skills. Some of the challenges of creating a project from scratch was that I had to find a way to accomplish a majority, if not all, of my goals in a single project. This was hard because the audiences I want to reach are very different, from college students and adults to elementary children, and required different styles of presenting. I settled on a video presentation of coping mechanisms, presented in a way that middle schoolers through adults could understand and I hope to be able to reach younger children in the future more effectively.
