SUMMARY
Reflection
I am so proud of my experience with this project. I learned many things and was able to impact about 100 4th graders.
Project Impact
I was able to reach approximately 100 4th grade students at Irving Park Elementary through 5 hands on STEAM learning centers.
PROJECTS TASKS

Page Week
10.00 hours participating in an awareness event | Connectedness
Met with executive government officials, assisted governmental projects, and exposed myself to different aspects of government throughout the week.

Project Planning
4.00 hours leading an initiative | Compassion
I will curating STEAM centers for a 4th grade title 1 classroom that I attended. The highlight of my Irving Park Elementary experience was the hands on activities we were provided by grants. Lately, when I have visited to volunteer, I have noticed less and less hands on learning activities available to students at my Title 1 school. I hope that these STEAM centers will be able to provide more quality education opportunities to those underfunded public schools such as Irving Park.

Publicity
1.00 hour leading an initiative | Respect
I created flyers explaining each activity to send home with every 4 th grader at Irving Park Elementary.

Do the Project
10.00 hours leading an initiative | Integrity
Curated STEAM centers for the local title 1 elementary school, Irving Park. I went during the school day to install them and explain each station to the 4th graders. I made flyers to send home to families as well so that the kids could share with their parents about the new addition to their classroom.

Project Outcomes & Reflection
1.00 hour leading an initiative | Integrity
I learned the value of pivoting from this project. After aspiring to do all 4, 4th grade classrooms, I was only able to make one set due to budget constraints. However, I only made this choice once I realized that the kids rotate rooms for each subject so every single 4th grader at Irving Park will have access to the materials.
