Reflection
I enjoyed this project a lot, through this project I learned more about homeless people and their needs. I also enjoyed packing and distributing the kits, it was my favorite part. Overall I enjoyed helping others and gained a lot of knowledge through this experience.
Project Impact
I donated 30 care kits through my project. Over it was 30 deodorants, lip balms, pads, toothpaste, notes, and they came in reusable bags.

We learned about various different departments through guest speakers and visiting the departments. We also volunteered at some departments and went to the general assembly.

I first researched different things to put in a care kit and asked my local community shelter what items they needed most. After I went out and bought each item for the kits. This included deodorant, pads, tampons, toothpaste, the bags, and lip balm. After I packed each kit and added a handwritten note in each one.

I donated self care kits for people at my local community shelter. They included necessities like deodorant, pads, toothpaste, and lip balm as well as a note from me. I donate 30 kits overall 15 for men and 15 for women.

I reflected on my event and figured how it impacted the community shelter, I also reached out to the shelter to say thank you and started brainstorming new ways to give back.
