By the power of the Holy Spirit - working through God's Holy Word and Sacraments - we will be transformed for God's mission.
God's mission is that the members of St. Matthew Lutheran Church share the love of Christ Jesus through thought, word and deed.
We will be transformed for His Mission as we proclaim the Gospel.

THE GOSPEL – as the Holy Scriptures teach, is that a person is saved by Grace through Faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who
+ was BORN – to be our SUBSTITUTE;
+ LIVED PERFECTLY – to be our RIGHTEOUSNESS by faith;
+ DIED – to earn the FORGIVENESS of all sin;
+ ROSE from the dead – that we too might RISE from the grave one day; and
+ ASCENDED with the PROMISE – to return and give all believers in Christ eternal life in heaven.
