Keep Lee County Beautiful has served as a public/private partnership since 1989 and is a 501c3, not for profit environmental education organization comprised of volunteer community leaders who donate their time talent and resources to promote litter abatement, recycling and proper cost effective solid waste management practices to provide a pathway to a cleaner environment in the community at large.
We have, since 1989, proudly undertaken a mission that has evolved with changing times. Today, we encompass litter prevention, beautification and community improvement as well as waste stream reductions through diverse programs, volunteers, education initiatives, innovative tools and creative solutions. However, the ideal of keeping Lee County beautiful is something much more, it is a personal commitment to choices and actions that preserve natural beauty, protect the environment, prevent blight, improve public lands and make our community a better, safer and cleaner place to live.
